Bassinets Recalled by Burlington Basket Company

According to CPCS, there was voluntary recall of Bassinets by Burlington Basket Company, of Burlington, Iowa. The recall recommends consumers to stop using this product unless instructed otherwise.

According to the recall there are about 500,000 bassinets that were sold. The recall stats that the bassinets can collapse if the bracing rails are not fully locked into position. There have been at least 10 reported injuries resulting in a collapsed bassinet.

This recall are for those bassinets manufactured before June 2010. The recalled units have folding legs attached to the basket with white plastic pins.
